The Avatar movie has arrived in theaters after years of waiting and production. The sci-fi film has made its name in the movie world with its BLUE carpet premiere. The movie is basically a re-invented Pocahantis story. The Director wrote his own 3d programing for the movie. The film was great and has grossed over a billion world-wide. Check it out on Blu-ray of you can't make it to theaters.

MADNESS COMBAT

Madness Combat the flash short that was all over the internet in a matter of days. It's basically what it is in the title what looks like crash test dummies killing each other. It later moved into a mini series about Hank our protagonist.

Vision Concept

BMW's new concept car the Vision is a diesel hybrid that gets over 60mpg. But this isn't your neighbors Prius this car is packing a 264 horsepwr engine for your speed demon needs. The release date is unknown since the car is still in concept but it'll be great to have for christmas in 2012.

Borderlands Expansion:

Expansions are here for Borderlands so soon. A whole new map, new missions, new ghouls to fight and it's only ten bucks!? Hopefully this expansion is worth all the hype and 1GB of memory its going to take on your HDD.

YouTube has announced a new News casting system. Giving permissions to big news companies to take videos from You Tube to broadcast on their own channels. All Creators will be accredited for their works but not payed sadly.

New Google phone

Verizon customers WAIT! Google has announced a new phone compared to the I-phone and Verizon's new droid. It supposed not be just a phone exactly but more of a mini computer.

RUSSIA BANS CADMW2

Russia bans the new Call Of Duty Game for content on an optional level in the campaign. In the mission you are a CIA agent under deep cover with a Russian terrorist group. The offense part of tis mission is you end mowing down a Russian airport starting the war.

Welcome Back to the Creed. . .

Assassin's Creed II hit stores this week. Even though it it didn't draw in as many customers the few loyal Creed fans have bought it pre-order, etc.
The New game is set in Italy during the time of Davinci. You get a new set of weapons your costume changes and your story is different. Prepare yourself for the CREED. . . .

DROID IS HERE

The claimed I-phone killer has hit Verizon stores as promised in November and didn't stay on shelves very long. Plenty of Verizon customers came in and traded in their BLACKBERRY phones for the new Droid. Now didn't Verizon say this was an I-phone killer? t seems to me it's assassinating more BLACKBERRY'S than the I-phone mainly because verizon customers are still bonded by contract. I have yet to here AT&T customers changing services for a phone we shall see.

The King of Iron Fists Tournament 6 has begun

Tekken 6 hit the storres a few weeks ago, but how many people knew, how many people CARED! Besides me not very many people did and if they did they didn't have the money because they were busy paying off the onslaught of new games that came out in November, (CODMW2, ASSASSINS CREED II, L4D2) which had to kill the sales of the famous namco fighter. Lets just hope it does better in a few weeks.

MAG

MAG a new first person military shooter coming out for the PS3 from Zipper studios who produced the famous SOCOM franchise. The story line is placed in the year 2050 and the world's governments can't pay for military services as a resort they have all become privatized. The game has gotten most og its praise for holding great graphics and having a 256 Multiplayer online. So for those few PS3 holders MAG seems to be a pretty good game to get.

DJ HERO is Almost Here and the Specail Renegade version intreges me!

The new game from Activisions HERO franchise is DJ Hero. A game based on a turntable and beat machine this challenge game has brought alot of famous Artists to music gaming. For example Eminem and Jay-Z are featured in the Renegade version of DJ Hero with extra discs from both artists with un-released songs. I think Actvision knows how to market, besides the money the gameplay is pretty smooth the demo has been released at local GameStops and has had crowds around it so there's no doubt the release of DJ Hero will do as well as the GuitarHero franchise.

Disney Keychest

Disney is coming with another digital toy for our movie viewers. Disney is coming out with a new movie viewing product that allows you to have your Disney movie in all formats(computer, I-pod, Blu-ray,etc.). They are doing this with apple when buying a movie you're not just buying the movie you're buying rights to that film. This is all the information that's been released on it but i think it would be pretty nice to say I own rights to a Disney movie.

FACEBOOK FOR XBOX!

Coming soon to Xbox Live Members! Facebook features will be available in the dashboard like updates, photos, and maybe messaging like the msn program they have in X BOX Live already. This is a great example of expanding and connecting forces. This is also getting X BOX back against Sony's PS3 browser.

Verizions DROID

Verizon attempts to fight back against AT&T's I-phone with the new touch screen DROID set to be released in November the new phone is touch-screen key board phone that looks a lot like the DARE with a sliding keyboard. Time will tell how the DROID fairs against the Apple's 3-GS.

HALO: WAYPOINT

New HALO add-on available in the Live Marketplace called WAY POINT. It catalogs all of your game data from the recent Halo games: Halo3, Halo Wars, and Halo3: ODST can be cataloged and saved on this kind of Leader board for Halo. It holds your achievements, screenshots, etc. along with a cataloging feature it has constant updates and inside looks on the Halo universe from Bungie, Microsoft, and other Live user's. I think this WAYPOINT is going to be really cool or a big waste of time for Halo players.

Apple says no to JAIL BREAK!

Apple has made the new I-Phone HACK proof. Yea right we'll find a way to Jail break our phones pssh stupid genius CEO's no nothing. But this is disapointing to most of t our I-Phone user's now they have to figure out how to get all of their unauthorized apps.

BRUTAL LEGEND

BRUTAL LEGEND has arrived at your local gaming store!!! The much anticipated game voiced by the famous movie star Jack Black is here in full form the game's release has let out the pros and cons of the game but as a whole its great with both a story mode and a multi-player feature with possibly add-on to come later.

NFS: SHIFT

The new NFS game has arrived and for those of you cavemen that don't know what NFS stands for it simply means Need For Speed. NFS is a racing franchise that has awed the public for years. The newest installment,NFS: SHIFT, brings the arcade style of NFS to the sim games like Foroza and Grid. The good things about shift the graphics for the cars are fantastic the gameplay is smooth and realistic more than the usual NFS game which should redeem them for the recent NFS: Undercover which tanked with racing gamers around the country. I played the demo for SHIFT and it was somewhat the same idea as NFS: Pro Street which was a game on legal street racing events held around the world. It appears the franchise has gotten more serious with introducing professional racing its got great ratings so far...lets see how it plays out.

DEAD SPACE for Wii? What ever happened to family oriented gaming. Well I guess this counts as survival kids are going to have to learn how to aim for the head some day. This first person shooter isn't so bad even for the low quality of the Wii's graphics but the co-op isn't all that great and it's the Wii how many first person shooter gamers own a Wii!? Not alot.

AT&T and the I Phone

AT&T is having trouble with the I-Phone or is I-phone having a problem with AT&T. Surveys are being taken saying that a lot of AT&T's customers if given the chance would change their mobile provider. This is interesting b/c it wasn't specified who's to blame who is our Luke Skywalker for our AT&T Death star?

Google earth has released a new plug in basically a count down to our destruction. It shows the progression of global warming narrated by Al Gore. I personally think this is great its either fun to watch or it will get more people to recognize what we're doing.

ROBOT BEETLES!!!

Scientist at UC Berkly have been researching cybernetics and have come to the point of remote control BEETLES that move with an RC controls. I know I'm not the only one that thinks this is freaking awesome. If they can get Beetles what other animals could they get like lions and elephants. Then there's the negative what if they use it against people...

Does Disney keep their new friends?

Kirby estates goes to court for recently purchased MARVEL. The fate of our paperback heroes have had another run with the law. So what happens to our characters now in court deciding their fate if the characters stay with their co-creator's organization.

Who says you have to be green on 4 wheels?

Introducing the zero Bike the first energy efficient battery operated motor-bike. This bike only gets up to 55mph but its great for around town commutes and to work. Its lite weight and the battery charges in the home and is a four hour charge for 60 miles. The only problem is its only been seen in white and cost 10 grand.

Wolfenstein

Welcome back to castle Wolfenstien lets go gets some NAZIS!!!
Wolfinstien is a WWII era game based on the Black MAGIC that Hitler experimented. This re-make of the classic first person shooter by "id" who also created the DOOM first person shooter for PC. In Wolfenstein you play an american agent sent in to stop the Nazi plans for Europe. This is a pretty decent game for WWII game and Sci-fi gamers or people who've played the original.

The ride from a galaxy far,far away Re-mastered!

You know you remember this ride one of the best rides at Disney land well it used to be. Any way D23 has announced its refurbishing. The once state of the art technology will be replaced and the ride will be shut down starting sometime in October. They say that the ride will have new film and the voice of Yoda.

i-tunes9 and i-tunes LP

Itunes9 another update for the forever growing Apple application has added a ton of new features the most entertaining updates has to be I-tunes LP. LP is supposed to bring all the great things in buying a CD. Things like album art, notes from the artist, and the lyrics. There are extras you can't get from a store bought album like video interviews and picture slide shows. All in all Apple is proving to the world that it can and will make it on top. till next time....

CAN IT COURTNEY ITS JUST A GAME!

Courtney Love is threatening to sue Activision for inappropriate use of Kurt Coabain's image in the new Guitar Hero 5 game. But the funny thing is Activision claims she signed off on this what's up with that?! The only thing that's redeeming here is now former band members are now asking to lock Kurt's character to Nirvana songs. This is easier said than done b/c the game is already out in stores and who wants to loose there GH5 for a corprate screw up or a dumb blonde?

Apple new video game empire?

Apple released its new i pods and I-tunes software yesterday at Apple's music event. Thought the thing that surprised me most was the New I-touch with a better micro processor that plays Assassins Creed and Madden 1o. Whoa the Assassins Creed is still in production for it's release but, MADDEN 10 is available for the new i touch's release in the app store. This brings up the question what else is apple doing? I've already seen titles like the force unleashed before and now Madden. Is Apple moving into the gaming business to get some leverage over Microsoft? If Apple does introduce a gaming system how popular will it be or will it tank like SEGA. Who knows what the future will hold?

Game Informer sneakpeak on L4D2...will you survive?

Alright I know all of our 360 owners have atleast heard of Left4Dead if not here are some basics. Its basically survival of the fittest with you and your fellow survivor friends are currently on the run to salvation from the a current Zombie infection. The virus hasn't been given a name but apparently your immune to it. You go through levels in 4 parts when you reach the last part of the level you have to hold out for your escape vehicle until then you fight off the hordes from you and your fellow survivors. If you make it on the rescue vehicle without being knocked down, killed or incapacitated you complete the level. In the new installment for L4D, L4D2 includes new characters, new levels, and new weapons. For those of you planning on boycotting L4D2 your loss this game is sure to be a hit!

GUITAR HERO 5!!!!

Guitar Hero 5 has arrived!!!! It hit the shelves September 1st, 2009 and is getting amazing reviews. The layout again has been tweaked from what you've seen before from Guitar Hero. New songs of course and special characters like Kurt Cobain, Johnny Cash, and Santana. With all the good there has to be weak points in the game GH5 like the GH Studio its still incredibly difficult and probrably not worth not doing, but otherwise its seems like a good game for our Musical Gamer's

SONY IN 3-D? Good or Bad

G4 has let out that Sony plans on making the technology "jump" to 3-D, but is this good or bad for Sony. The Majority of the world has already made the transfer to Plasma and LCD screens. Do they want to spend the money on new Technology just for the added 3-D. Sony is releasing 3-D TV's Vaio laptops, and PS3 gaming systems that play 3-D images. Though how well SONY's new products will sell on the market aside this is a perfect example of how fast technology is moving forward to maybe holograms or perfected 3-D imagery in the home. Games that Puzzle you...

G4 released several puzzle game previews today in the X-play podcast . A lot of the games are PC or X-BOX LIVE MARKETPLACE downloads but the graphics are incredible and artistic. Though the replay value of the games seem kind of iffy. But if you enjoyed games like Donkey Kong Country, Portal, and Astroids these are perfect games for you.

Disney moves further to the top with "Mr. Fantastic"?

Today on "G4's" "THE FEED" it was announced that "Walt Disney Pictures" is purchasing "MARVEL COMICS". The deal includes 5,000 "MARVEL" characters with a price ticket of 4 billion on many of the popular characters Spider-Man, the X-men, and many more. Along with the rights to names and characters Disney has the rights to future films with the MARVEL characters, but don't let this new ownership get you down. The current head of the company has reassured that the stories we know will not be changed.
